Hi Everyone!
Make a note on your calendars for this year’s Illinois State Genealogical Society Annual Conference that will take place on October 23, 2010 in Peoria, Illinois from 8 AM until 4 PM. If I remember correctly, this annual conference had been local to our area over the previous years but it is moving to downstate Illinois for this year. I can certainly understand that this program needs to be in more Illinois locations than just in the Chicagoland area.
The conference is being hosted by the Peoria Genealogical Society.
Please visit the following links to obtain much more detailed information on the program as well as to see information from the Peoria County Genealogical Society:

There is plenty of time to see how this program would work out for you, especially knowing the fact that it will take place some distance from our Northwest Suburban location.
Take a look at the details that can be found within the above links.
A good annual conference is good no matter where it occurs if you can take away some great lessons to assist in your own research efforts.

ISGS always puts on a great conference in the fall. Peoria is home to the historic Pere Marquette Hotel where the conference is being held. I plan to attend with several other genealogists. Curt Witcher is a great speaker!
