Illinois State Genealogical Society Has A New Blog

Hi Everyone!

Thomas MacEntee, the Publicity Chairman for the Illinois State Genealogical Society, has informed me that the ISGS has started a genealogy blog that is authored by him.

At the blog you can find information in the following categories:

  • Events
  • Services
  • Publications
  • Becoming A Member
  • About the Blog
  • Illinois Genealogy Resources

The blog was just started in May 2010.  There are about 30 posts to the blog at this time.

You may want to bookmark the site for future visiting.  Or you can subscribe to the site with an RSS feed and receive new postings as they become available.  You can also follow the ISGS via Facebook and Twitter.

Check out the blog site at:

This is a good way to keep informed of genealogical matters at a state of Illinois level.

Enjoy the blog as it continues to grow over time.
