New Additions to My Favorite Links List on My Blog

Hi Everyone!

I realized I did not include 3 great Illinois/Cook County genealogy resource links in my Favorite Links page of my blog.

I have added the following three links to my Favorite Links page of my blog:

COOK COUNTY (IL) LINKS

ILLINOIS GENEALOGY RESOURCES

The CookCountyGenealogy.com web site will get you to the site that you can access the index of Birth, Marriage and Death Records for Cook County that are available to search and find in their index and then for you to purchase copies of the certificate from Cook County.  Please note the time interval limits in years of material that is allowed to be accessed.  Each Vital Record category has its own limits.

The Look At Cook site can give you access to many resources pertaining to Cook County that can assist you with making sense from a variety of census material as it pertains to Cook County, IL over a variety of Census years.  You will also find some great PDF files associated with the 1909 and 1911 Street Number Changes as well as a PDF on the historical Street Name changes that have occurred in the City of Chicago over time.

The Illinois Genealogy Resources from Linkpendium is a site that gives you access to genealogical reference information and insights on a county-by-county basis for each county of Illinois.  There is a lot of material here that you can access on a county-by-county basis.

You can access these additional sites directly from this post from the links above as well as now seeing them in the “Favorite Links” page of this blog that you will find in one of the Tabs across the Home Page of this blog.

For those doing Illinois or Cook County, Illinois research you will want to visit these sites frequently to discover new additions of materials and resources that will be added to the site by the producers of the sites.

I think you will like these if you have not ever been aware of them or had never visited them before.
