I just received an updated notice from the Polish Genealogical Society of America (PGSA) on the finalization of information for their upcoming Annual Conference in Salt Lake City.
The program will take place from April 20th to April 23rd, 2012.
An e-mail from Eileen Carter, President of the PGSA indicated the following information noted in Italics:
Attached is an updated poster on the United Polish Genealogical Societies 2012 Biennial Conference, in Salt Lake City, Utah, April 20-23. When I initially sent you a copy, all the details had not been finalized. I’d appreciate it if you would post for Library visitors to view.
We are now pleased to announce that among the many speakers the following are scheduled:
Dr. Barbara Berska – Deputy General Director of State Archives of Poland who among other topics is planning to talk about the digitizing of records in Poland and what is happening in genealogy there.
Steve Morse – Who will introduce his latest One-Step Webpage for the 1940 U.S. Census
Tomasz Nitsch – Noted Polish genealogist
Speakers associated with the Family Search Library who will lecture on the partitions: Austrian, German and Russian
So much more, plus time to do your own research at the world-famous library

This is going to be a large conference with some fantastic speakers.
Consider going if you really want to immerse yourself in Polish research as well as having access to the massive collections of Polish research material within the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.
