I previously made a post about this event on October 15, 2012 that contained all the information you need in order to register yourself for the program.

Now would be a good time to re-post this information.

What follows in Italics after the separator line is the text from my original posting of this information:

It’s that simple!

You can also register by calling our main library number at 847-985-4000 and ask that you want to be registered for a program.  Our staff will be able to register you if you are unable or unwilling to do the online registration process yourself.

The guest speaker at the PGSA meeting/program will be Jeff Bockman – genealogy lecturer and writer. His presentation is titled “Cemetery Records – Search High & Low, Above & Below”.

His presentation is expected to start between 2:15 to 2:30 PM after the PGSA conducts some society business.  The guest speaker’s program should last until approximately 3:30 PM to 4 PM.

He will provide information that will include finding cemeteries, cemetery records, funeral home records and will show photographs of unique tombstones and monuments.

Jeffrey Bockman is a Genealogy Lecturer & Writer. He was a contributing editor for the former Everton’s Genealogical Helper and a feature writer for the former Heritage Quest Magazine. His articles have also appeared in various other publications. He was the President of the DuPage County Genealogical Society for 5 terms. Refreshments will be provided.

The PGSA will also have genealogical research books of interest to Polish researchers for purchase at the program.

The program is open to all who have registered.  You do not have to be a library card holder of STDL to attend.  You do not have to be a member of PGSA to attend.  (If you are interested in becoming a member of PGSA, this is a great opportunity to see what a PGSA event is like and to meet and interact with those that are members.)
