It is with sadness that I must let you know that Maureen Brady, our scheduled speaker for our October 11, 2011 Genealogy Program at the Schaumburg Township District Library, will NOT be able to make her presentation due to a death in her family. Maureen was going to present a program titled “Family History Research in Illinois and Wisconsin”.
We wish Maureen all of our dearest thoughts during her time of family sadness.
I apologize for this very short notice of change of plans but the change is beyond the control of myself or our speaker.
I will work with Maureen on re-scheduling this program at a future date.
Instead, Tony Kierna, myself, will just conduct a general discussion on “all things genealogy”. I hope to be able to review information on materials in our collection, our online databases etc. and just take questions from those in attendance about genealogical matters.
Hopefully, the change in program plans will not change your mind about coming out to our library for an “altered” program different from what was originally scheduled.
I look forward to seeing all of you for our “changed” program.
I hope I will not disappoint you with this changed “program on the fly!”.
Thanks for your understanding.
