The DuPage County Genealogical Society (DCGS) has let me know that they have the entire 2013-2014 schedule of programs completed. The April 2014 program has been filled. Also, the January 2014 program title has been corrected. On an earlier post describing their programs for 2013-2014, they had not at that time completed the program plan for the April 2014 program. That is now complete. Steve Szabados will now be the guest speaker for the society’s April 16, 2014 program and will present a program titled “Mining Census Records – Information to Enrich Your Heritage”.
The society also noted that it had corrected the title of the January 15, 2014 scheduled program by Jennifer Holik from “Secrets of the Lost” to “Stories of the Lost”.
Programs for the society take place between September Through May each year. The society does not offer any programs during the summer months of June, July and August.
